Lago Pehoe: Enjoying the view while waiting for the catamaran to take us to the starting point of our Journey. By chance, it was here where I bumped into James again. Glacier Gray is actually blue. Who ever painted all these lakes and glaciers must have been color blind. The tints are all wrong here... Glacier Gray Jeremy carefully navigating us through the park with his trusty map and compass.
Campamento Italiano: As usuall, by the time we arrived, Sally and Saralyn had already set up camp, eaten dinner and had the latest camp gossip ready for us. The start of our misguided trek up Valle Francis. I still have a sneaking suspision that the park really just consists of painted backdrops. This is a view from Valle Francis where moments later, the wind would pick me up and then through me down to the ground. This place was not very kind to me.
Still very misguided and climbing up the Valle Francis. At least at this point, we were still following a path. The look of a misguided man still wanting to hike up further. Someone smart enough to turn back while she still could.
Some hikers that followed us beyond the trail and became even more misguided then us as they pushed on further up the mountain. A turning point. Finaly realising how pointless our efforts were, we decided to turn back. Unfortunatly, we couldn't see the trail anymore. Lago Skottsberg. We did make it back down safely.
